I The meadow
Walk out of any town, and the land keeps going.
Grass that moves in one wind. A sun that sets on the world’s own clock. Light that is traced through the world every frame, not painted on.
An MMORPGIn the spirit of 1999
An old-school MMORPG, on a world that remembers.
In development. Not yet playable.
I The meadow
Grass that moves in one wind. A sun that sets on the world’s own clock. Light that is traced through the world every frame, not painted on.
II Woods and water
Roe Grove at twenty to six. Real trees throw their shadows across the sand and into the pond, and the water holds what is left of the light.
III The night
The moon wears NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter map. The stars and the Milky Way come out when the sky is dark enough to show them.
IV The antagonist
His agents walk into villages wearing other people’s faces. Hail one and listen: its speech carries small wrongnesses, tells you learn to hear. Accuse it correctly and it unmasks on the spot, and the village pays a bounty. Accuse an innocent and you pay the blood price. Ignore an agent too long and it unmasks itself, mid-market, teeth first.
Zones Zone lines, the old way
The world is cut into zones, each with its own sky, light, fog and music. Cross a zone line and the screen fades out, the zone’s name comes up, and you are somewhere else.
The real crossing
“The watch resumed a post nobody volunteered for.”
Out of The Mire’s murk, through black, into Wardholm: the engine’s own transition, frame by frame.
“Trolls and ogres, and a bog you can wade but never cross dry.”
The zone brings its own air: a low sun barely gets through.
“A fissure in the fields ridge, and a choir that has not stopped.”
A dungeon zone, down in the rock.
Dig a hole or raise a wall and you are changing the world itself, not swapping in a pre-made piece. Every hole you dig and every wall you raise stays there, for everyone.
People Frontier characters
Every person in BAYNE is a Frontier character: one modular body, dressed piece by piece, so a crowd doesn’t repeat itself.
In development Armour and weapons you can loot and wear. Humans walk the world today; more races are coming.

Engine line-ups, golden hour. Every figure is cropped from a real frame.
Weather And the time of day
Day turns to night on the world’s clock, and weather comes in on its own. Seven moments, from morning to deep night.
